Members of the Month - August 2008

It's summertime and things are heating up. Check out the sizzling women who have been nominated for Ladies Lotto Members of the Month for August.

Bianca Bracho
Ladies Lotto Los Angeles

Bianca was born and raised in Los Angeles and can't seem to get enough. After completing her undergraduate studies at Yale University in 2006, she returned home ready to take it on full force. A music fiend of all kinds, she has been collecting and show-going since middle school. Back in LA, she began co-hosting She Rocks!!!, a weekly radio show on KXLU 88.9 fm featuring all female artists. She also has been establishing herself around the underground music scene as DJ Bianca O'Blivion, bringing people together through dance and creative expression (she even had a fly girls style dance duo for a hot second). Last summer she along with fellow LL member Christene Kings starting working together on Tralala Media, a PR project representing the LA music scene surrounding the Smell and its label olFactory Records, promoting bands like Abe Vigoda, Ima Gymnist, Hard Place and Magic Johnson. Through this experience, she decided to start her own label, Oblivionaire Records, and is currently working on a release for the fresh new electro rap duo Icy Lytes. She has also written for the weekly music magazine LA Record and is currently a contributor to the blog mixtapemixtape.com.

While she will always be involved in music, art and dance in some form or another, she will be returning to her academic pursuits as she begins UCLA for her Master's in Public Health, focusing in Epidemiology.
