Music On Screens

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Sweden’s greatest music documentary festival Music Doc they decided to do the transatlantic move and set up the festival in big apple to bring you top quality Nordic music documentaries.

This year they will screen some of the most interesting and inspiring music documentaries from the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland) featuring Swedish artists such as Lykke Li, Fever Ray, Wildbirds and Peacedrums and more.

The screenings will take place at roof- tops, backyards and at midnight at legendary diners all over Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens. Most of the screenings are free or at very low price with free brunch, drinks and more.

One of the latest additions to New York's ever growing urban atmosphere is Roof Top Farms offering rural charm to the industrial area of Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Over looking Manhattan's skyline this 6,000 square organic roof top farm includes 30 varieties of vegetables,fruits, flowers and herbs, farmers market, farming courses and volunteer opportunities.

Roof Top Farm embodies the spirit of Brooklyn by taking advantage of the community and local restaurants Marlow & Sons, Anella and Vesta Trattoria are all buying from the farm.
By volunteering or visit the farmers market you can help growing this wonderful Greenpoint green space.
