Spanish Orgasm Video: Driving Voters to the Polls

The Socialist Catalonian Party in Spain is causing a stir with this "orgasm" commercial made to drive voters to the polls.  Watch the video below!

The commercial depicts a woman having just voted turned on to the point of orgasm. It's causing a fuss from both the right & the left in Spain. Some say it's derogatory towards women. What do you think? Offensive, funny, empowering?

Frankly, I think this video is smart and a more empowering look at women as a driving force at the polls, along with making voting far more appealing... Creative concepts like this should be executed more in an effort to reach non-voters.

The big question to me is: Where are the senior citizen volunteers who usually work the polling stations?

LLadies Love: Digital Harinezumi 2

Superheadz's camera cum video recorder is new and improved. The latest version, the Digital Harinezumi 2 still shoots photos like an old 110 camera (yes, you have to look through a view finder) and video reminiscent of Super 8 films. New features include a black and white option, sound and a shorter focal length.

Click here to see video footage and stills.

Since we're all about getting and giving love this month, why not take the old sex tape back by getting those dirty deeds done with this little guy?

Currently the camera can be purchased at Urban Outfitters or at cultural destinations including the Brooklyn Museum of Art (psst; our editor got hers for 15% off when she became a member).

Lucky Tiger #1

We heart Laurel Nakadate. A prominent video artist and photographer Laurel's last film screened at Sundance this January. Her subject matter is always provocative and alluring.

Lucky for the New Yorkers out there, she has a show opening this week (two works from the show are above). This show features images of amateur actors performing ritualized exorcisms. A must see, right?
