The Audiophoric Summer of 2010

When you're not busy rocking out you can laugh your ass off as Patton Oswalt (United States of Tara, Caprica), Rob Riggle (UCB) and other comedians take the stage. British songstress Martina Topley Bird (Tricky) is this summer's siren.

Pretty much every indie act you know and love will be at one of the largest music festivals in Canada. Newish electro-rockers Metric, old faves Pavement and artists on the verge such as Jamie Lidell round out the lineup.

Various Dates, July-August

M.I.A. post-baby birthing and ready to bring the fiyah one more time! South African action heroes Die Antwoord support several dates with their stealth punk-hop Ninja skills.

Lollapalooza 2010
- Chicago, IL
August 6-8

The house Perry Farrell built is back for another year. Acts range from the internationally known Lady Gaga to relatively unknown garage rockers The Ettes. Also, buying a ticket to Lollapalooza means you're giving back; a portion of each ticket benefits the Parkways Foundation.
