Who knew Lil Wayne & Jay Sean could make Breast Cancer Awareness more appealing? These hospital employees from Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon did when making this video to promote awareness at the hospital.



It doesn't have to be October to talk about Breast Cancer. Hearts out to all of those who are fighting for awareness & a cure; to those who have been effected by the disease and all of those who work in the field everyday. WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOU.

A Screening Near You

Did you know New York has the 4th highest rate of cervical cancer in the country? Since the introduction of the Pap smear in the 1940s, the death rate for cervical cancer has dropped more than 70%. Studies show cervical cancer is usually caused by the human papilloma virus, or HPV -- a common STD. However, only a few high risk strains (there are more than 100!) cause cervical cancer.

January is cervical cancer screening month: If one of your resolutions was to take better care of yourself, getting screened is a great start to better health. Your reproductive health affects overall health!
