100 Days of Active Resistance

“The principle idea of Active Resistance is that you get out of life what you put in and that real experience of the world involves thinking” – Vivienne Westwood.

Personal favorite fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and denim brand Lee Jeans have joined forces to raise awareness about global climate change through the medium of art.  A viral video was just launched on Tuesday to encourage the public to submit images for the 100 Days of Active Resistance (www.ar100days.com) online installation.  To submit an entry, applicants must fill out a form at http://ar100days.com/index.php/submit/ and have their photo follow the entry guidelines as listed on the site.

The installation will start on September 28, 2010 and continue for 100 days till January 5, 2011.  Every day for one hundred days one image will be selected and shared online on www.ar100days.com and at the close of 100 days, the 100 chosen images will become a part of a London exhibition dedicated to the project.
