Ladies Lotto Does SXSW

You can pick your nose, and you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your friend's nose. However, until September 4th you have the unique opportunity to help pick panels for SXSW Week 2010 (March 12-20). A few of our lovely and wicked talented LLadies have panels up for consideration via SXSW's Panel Picker and we want to show our support.

Let the ladies and the rest of the voters know what you think about their proposals by giving them a thumbs up and commenting directly to their Panel Picker page. You'll have to register so your vote counts but you won't get anything other than an email with login directions (yay, no spam here!).

And the nominees are:

Amplifying Social Innovation: Insights from Entrepreneurial Changemakers
The internet can be a cold & dark place -- information overload, egos ablaze, and "friends" not always what they seem. How can we maximize the potential for the web to create meaningful connections among changemakers, and inspire humans to truly connect with one another? We'll share stories about why we seek to address certain social and environmental issues through digital entrepreneurship.

Booze Blogging: Liquid Conversation
Cocktails tell the story of American history, and those leading the conversation today are pioneers on the digital landscape. We hope to explore the relationship between bloggers, bartenders, and brands while discussing how technology has influenced their discussions.

Publicity 101 - Things to Do Before Hiring a Publicist

Dayna would like to use her expertise to teach bands how to launch their band and take advantage of all the things they should do before hiring a publicist. What materials do they need to create a successful DIY campaign?

These LLadies are in it; now it's up to us to help them win it!
