Album you cannot live without #5: Sister Carol - Liberation for Africa
Feeling the lion of judah energy with Sister Carol. Born in Jamaica, raised in Brooklyn from the age of 14 on, Carol graduated from City College of New York, gave birth to her first son, and began her music career within the same year. In 1983 she released Liberation for Africa, shortly after she founding her own record label, Black Cinderella. An established performer, she was recently in the movie Rachel Getting Married (2008).
