Yoga, With Some Attitude

LLCHI started the year off right with centering themselves at Vessel Yoga. Nike Sponsored Yoga Instructor Margo Kellison lead the ladies through invigorating motions to the tunes of mellow hip-hop and R&B. Vessel Studio is chic and inviting and offers a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and the experience is anything but ordinary.

As for the end of last year...

DEC08
On December 23rd 2008, LLCHI met to toast to a fabulous first year and an exciting year to come at Park52 in Hyde Park aka Obama's home! Gathered around a table of delicious food and overflowing martinis, the ladies shared great conversation and resolutions for the new year.

NOV08
On November 19th 2008, the ladies of LLCHI met at Metamorph Studios in Wicker Park to hear from some of the best female tattoo artists in the game. Apryl Jenkins, Jenn Trok, Esther Garcia, Robyn, and Tiny shared the good, the bad, and the ugly of tattoos with a mixed audience of tatted ladies and ink virgins. Not only did they dispell some common ink myths, but they also talked about what it means to be a woman in a male-dominate industry. At the end of the event, the LLCHI ladies were definitely better versed on the ink industry... and some even left with appointments!

Sounds great! i would really love to be part of something like this. I'm part of a yoga group in Georgia which meets 5 times a week and i love this group.

However, almost everyday is the same and i'm really wishing they would make it a little more interesting, or unfortunately change the instructors.

They do certainly get us into really great shape, but yoga has been my love fore years and they have been doing the exact same routines for months and months and months. I feel like my months have been but on repeat and it the exact same thing.

I would love to be part of an interesting group that is not the same old thing every day every week every month.
