Freewaves, a global arts organization, presents Hollywould the 11th Annual Festival of Experimental Media featuring 160 experimental videos, films and media along Hollywood Blvd for 5 days and nights starting Thursday, October 9th.
Events include in-store screenings; exhibitions like "Who Is in Charge Here: Authors, Authority and Authoritarianism;" ginormous LED display on Hollywood and Highland; Art video installations on city wide buses and Remapping-LA, a community-driven participatory project merging social engagement, artistic experimentation, and technological research to enable collaborative investigation and expression of and about the neighborhood's physical, cultural, and social environments.
