See and be seen

I'm a mascara fanatic and it's the one beauty product that I can't live without. My one worry? What's in this stuff and will it hurt my precious peepers?

If you have the same concerns try:

Larenim's Mineralash Mascara (www.larenim.com). It's the only vegan mascara I know of and doesn't contain synthetic oils, petrolates, phthalates, glycols or FD&C dyes that can be found in other mascaras.

Tarte's Lash Hugger Eco-Friendly Natural Mascara (www.sephora.com). It's also free of the above-mentioned nasty ingredients plus, it comes in a recycled aluminum tube.

And for extra healthy lashes try:

Kimiko's Long Healthy Lashes Mascara (www.kimikobeauty). LL member and makeup artist Danielle Vincent created Kimiko and packs her mascara full of jojoba, vitamin E, collagen amino acids, wheat germ oil, and more to protect lashes. It also contains micro fibers for length and volume.

Darac Beauty's Expedition Mascara (www.daracbeauty.com). This mascara by former Prescriptives makeup artist Darac is formulated with silk extract to protects lashes and you only need one coat for maximum winkage.
