Huckleberry Lemonade: Like it's Still the Beginning of Summer!

At last week's NYC meeting, we combated the muggy August heat with Huckleberry Lemonades-- a deliciously cooling mixture reminiscent of days spent next to the lemonade stand. 44 North's Huckleberry Vodka, distilled from potatoes, adds a lightly sweet (not syrupy) taste. FYI: Huckleberry is the name for wild blueberries.

Ingredients:
Handful of Ice
We used a cup of Newman's Own Virgin Lemonade
Approx. a shot (1.5 oz) of 44 North Huckleberry Vodka

You can use a shaker, or just add the vodka before the lemonade-- it will stir naturally; this also allows the pulp to remain (if you like that kind of thing).

You can find 44 North at a variety of vendors nationwide, click here for more infomation.
