I FEEL FAKE

This series seems to be about coming to Los Angeles from New York. At first I hated LA. Didn’t get the people , didn’t get the transportation, didn’t get the difference - and I was kind of faking it being here.

The car has always inspired me. To go and journey is called a safari in Swahili. Here there are many safaris to be had. So I went out. I felt real. Though sometimes the things I saw didn’t so much. The things I saw made me laugh or reminded me of a poem. There were things I saw that didn’t exist. So it isn’t so much about the fake as it is about the feeling of it.
