LLadies: Fashion Week 2010 Undercover - Fashion's Night Out

Ladies Lotto is giving you the inside scoop on all things fashion week. Get the skinny on designers, what parties to attend—and what to avoid. Kicking off our coverage of the dazzling weeks of cocktails and couture is the epic evening—Fashions Night Out (FNO).

As you may know from last year, Fashion’s Night Out is the unprecedented global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry’s economy, and put the fun back in shopping. New York City will once again be taken over by ladies running in their heels and men eyeing those women on Friday, September 10, 2010 in New York City. Experience one-of-a-kind events - with the designers, celebrities, models and fashion editors you love (and would love to meet) - in stores, open to the public after-hours, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

But here is the coolest addition to the lineup this year—FNO will be staging the largest public fashion show in New York City history on September 7 at Lincoln Center. The show will showcase more than 150 of the industry’s top models and give nearly 1,500 guests a look at the key trends of the fall 2010 season. Tickets will be available this summer through the Lincoln Center box office.

Not in NYC? Never Fear! FNO will be all around the united states and the world including: France on the 7th, Britain and South Korea on the 8th, Australia, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain on the 9th, India, Russia, and the United States on the 10th, China, Japan, and Taiwan on the 11th, with Greece and Turkey bringing the event to a close on September 16. Spoiler alert! Find out where some of the celebs and designers participating in FNO will be, right here on August 16th.
