The Prettiest Parlor: Ladies Lotto Seattle!

On Wednesday, September 17, the Seattle Ladies Lotto group met for a show-and-tell session with proprietress Anna Banana (also known as Anna Lange) at Pretty Parlor, Seattle's favorite vintage boutique. Surrounded by whimsy--pink parasols and tutus suspended from the ceiling, feathered boas, jewel-tone pumps, prim white gloves and grandma's best plastic costume jewelry--the group listened as Anna related the heartfelt story of the trials of starting and building a retail business. After Anna discussed her past seven years in retail promotion tactics, growing clientele, dressing rock stars and hosting fashion shows, the gals shared business war stories. Between the mini-coloring table featuring a girl's set of Mattel fashion plates (remember those?), the pink room reflected in the pink champagne glasses and stimulating conversation, a uniquely Ladies Lotto rapport was created in the dreamlike atmosphere of the Pretty Parlor.

If you live in Seattle or are visiting from elsewhere, be sure to check out Pretty Parlor. The shop has garnered endless love from the press, and with good reason.

Thank you to Anna Lange and Sarah Hunt for hosting this rendition of Ladies Lotto!
