Don't we all wish we had one of these!? Help underprivileged NY women get a fresh start. Drop off outgrown, tired-of, or could- never-find-the-right-match pants and other office-y clothes, shoes, bags, or jewelry to Bottomless Closet NYC. This nonprof gives disadvantaged women in New York a leg up on getting a nine-to-five, but it's not your typical Goodwill dumping ground. BC not only fits working girls-to-be with interview-appropriate outfits, plus three extras, but also preps them for interviews and hosts workshops on topics like networking and financial management. It also has a book club (this month's read: The Great Gatsby), and stays available for work-related questions and support even after they land a gig so that all bases are...covered.
