LA Art Weekend


Hey Ladies, there's a new annual event in LA...and it starts tomorrow.

agnès b. and ANP Quarterly host the opening of Brent Stewart's Mister Lonely Portraits, photographed on the set of Harmony Korine's new film.

SATURDAY:

Royal/T presents the opening of the first Japanese “Maid Café” in the United States. Artist Masayuki Yoshinaga will be on hand to sign copies of his Phaidon book, Gothic & Lolita.

***this is a tongue in cheek recommendation...the maid cafe is a...um...cafe where japanese women are dressed like french maids...it just opened...the only time i would be caught there would be an event like this:)
