Fritz Haeg: architect, artist and now author, launches his book about his Edible Estate s project this saturday in LA. Edible Estates pretty much is what it sounds like: his project takes over front lawns with edible plants as opposed to decorative ones...environmentally friendly and...tasty. Just a shout out to my mom, who made our lawn an insane veggie garden and hides tiny plastic babies in the cabbages(much to the fright of small children in the neighborhood), this active use of your lawn provides food and justifies any water use.
