Ladies Lotto honors Ann Bancroft, a woman of many “firsts”. She has been acknowledged for her adventures and many expeditions. Ann Bancroft (September 29, 1955) is a US author, teacher, activist and adventurer. She is best known for being the first woman to reach the North Pole on foot and by sled! Ann is also known for being the first woman to ski across Greenland, and in ’92-’93, she led the first four woman expedition to the South Pole on skis!!
Ann lives her life on the edge, which is truly inspiring for the little adventurer in all of us!
Currently, Ann owns an exploration company called Bancroft Arnesen Explore.
