Unite For Sight!!!

Unite For Sight is hosting their 5th annual weekend conference on April 12-13th 2008 at Yale University.

This conference is founded on the exchange of ideas and practices in the pursuit of excelling the improvement of public health and international development. Unite For Sight will present over 180 expert speakers in these areas mentioned above.

A staggering static states that over 80% of blindness is preventable. With the help of education and conferences such as Unite For Sight, millions of people could evade this condition.

Unite For Sight® is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness. Local and visiting volunteers work with partner eye clinics to provide eye care in communities without previous access, with the goal of creating eye disease-free communities. Additionally, vision screening and education programs are implemented worldwide by volunteers working in ninety chapters established at universities in North America, Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
